Young Talent

If you would like to work with me on your long-term development as a violinist and musician, we will work on a balanced diet of technical exercises, etudes and carefully graded repertoire.

Wherever necessary we will pause to analyse the score and explore the wider context of the music. At the same time we will search for a trusting physical relationship with the instrument and a healthy, expressive sound.

 

All these elements will establish a solid foundation for you to express your individual voice and you will be able to draw upon these resources as you develop your personal approach to practising and performing.

I am familiar with a variety of music education systems internationally, including the Italian Conservatoire system. My students have been consistently successful in passing ABRSM grades at distinction level, have received multiple music scholarship offers at senior schools, and have been selected for the National Children’s Orchestra as well as Royal Academy of Music and Trinity Laban Junior Departments.
